Steady Progress
The highly anticipated, controversial non-fiction film The Buckle: Gays in the Bible Belt is marching forward. With over fifty hours of interviews with Oklahomans and countless hours of other footage, editing has begin.

In order to show our progress and give everyone a feel for what's to come, we've put together a special treat. We are excited to announce that the teaser trailer for the The Buckle is available online. Click here or on the image above.

The filmmakers have worked diligently since November of 2005 to bring this story and their unique vision to life. The journey includes moving stories from people of all walks of life; gay, straight, sons, daughters, parents and teens. We've tried to explore it all including: educators, lawyers, medical professions, politicians, phychiatrists, activists and more. Plus you never know what lurks in the imaginations of Tim and Todd.

But, don't forget about the opposition. The film explores the most publicized anti-gay group in America, Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church.
