Excel Budget Workshop

This Microsoft Excel file allows for comparison of up to four budgets. Use it to create "what if" scenarios such as comparing shooting on film to HD. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems and requires you to have Excel installed.

Note 1: Enter your costs on the Details worksheet and they are automatically calculated and placed on the Top Sheet.

Note 2: In the menu bar, go to View / Header and Footer to change the footer from Start Pictures to your company.

Note 3: Any line item description can be changed by simply clicking on it and changing the text or delete it by deleting the entire row.

Note 4: If you require a final budget for presentation, delete the columns and rows of the spreadsheet that are not applicable. This will require a little knowledge of working with Excel. It is recommended to perform a Save As before altering your budget just in case.

Start Pictures provides this file free of charge and does not warrant its accuracy since it is easy for a user to mess up the formulas!
