In Production

Start Pictures began production on its first feature-length documentary, The Buckle: Gay in the Bible Belt (working title). Filmmaker Todd Roberts and writer Tim Cornman launched the production to further the understanding of some of life's more controversial questions. Roberts and Cornman, straight guys, journey into unfamiliar territory seeking truth through understanding of the myths and misconceptions of gay life in the heartland of America.

Western Hunting Television
with Wade Boggs

The Foundation for North American Wild Sheep (FNAWS) sponsors Western Hunting Television. Production has begun with baseball hall-of-fame player and outdoorsman Wade Boggs, host of the series.

Wild sheep are dying of infectious disease while embattled in an economic-political-scientific fight for their lives.

FNAWS's mission is to promote and enhance populations of indigenous wild sheep, to safeguard against their decline or extinction and to fund programs for professional managment of these populations.

In Development

Start Pictures has teamed up with writing partners Tim Cornman and Mikel Bradfield to bring Evilution to the screen. Based on a radio play, Of Natural Circumstance, by the writing duo, Evilution is about a man recounting his life story to his therapist. We see him evolve from an innocent little boy to the definition of evil.

Evilution is currently in the financing and development phase at Start Pictures.

 

EAT UP!, a comical cookin' tawk show. Mix together 1/2 cup of Martha, 1/2 cup of Ellen and a dash of The Sopranos to get this spicy show hosted by the outrageous comedienne, Cheril Vendetti. Loosely based on Cheril's off-the-wall cookbook, Mistress of the Mob Cuisine, EAT UP! shows us that laughter and cooking are the main ingredients in life.

Knights in Dirty Armour is a shocking real-life story of how the death of two-year old Benjamin became a headline murder case in rural Oklahoma resulting in the conviction of two adoptive parents.

Free from prison now, John Schoonover has written a book exposing the tarnished knights that are supposed to defend us. Fearing for his life from corrupt officials, John desperately tries to free his "innocent" wife before his own failing health brings his own dimise.
